Since school and college days, all of us spent so much time thinking about what to do with our lives. And from childhood to youth many dreams change, with our changing desires and self-assessment.
But once we start working we just keep flowing in one direction. And sometimes we forget what we were originally looking for.
With the expansion of family and work/business, this idea of our dreams is often lost. And to earn and hold more than others in our circle of influence - that alone becomes our drive.
In this condition, there’s a possibility of losing touch with natural unbound happiness or peace. If that’s happening to you - then do give it a good thought.
Also, amidst this is the whole flux of emotions/ desires on one side and the moral conditioning/societal norms/religious guidelines on the other. Do you feel confused about the conflict between desires and these frameworks? If that’s happening to you - then do give it a good thought.
What am I looking for?
And how will I get it?
With these questions, we want to reflect on our own lives and once again refresh our purpose and path.
A collective inquiry into our lives including purpose/goals/dreams means of achieving and challenges therein and finally the aid of shastra or any other spiritual path.
The discussion may be facilitated by some, but the direction will totally depend on the group alignment. And while we walk together as a group, the inquiry is very personal and individual.
Openness and honesty in the search, are great allies. One is free to set their own boundaries.
Between two discussions one must observe, experiment with the ideas and validate their own perceptions. This will make way for truth to emerge and for real changes to come to our lives.
So there’s going to be:
1. A non-judgemental space to share and be completely open
2. Careful sensitive and equally vulnerable facilitators to hold hands
3. Co-exploration with courage, to listen to objective counter-views
4. Experiential tasks to validate your own perception of truth
5. Deep dive into emotions and their roots
6. An insight into what we could “do” to manage these and to move in direction of our purpose
7. An exploration of purpose, success, and happiness
8. A space to ask questions and be questioned
9. Also a space to seek one-to-one coaching, if need be, for a more immersive experience
